MOOR-P lite helps your baby’s flattened head gradually become rounder and more symmetrical as it grows. The helmet is lightweight, breathable and softly padded to make everyday wear as comfortable as possible.

Each helmet is custom-made for your baby, based on the shape and measurements of their head. It gently rests against selected areas, leaving space over flattened areas for growth. This guides the head’s natural growth.
Openings make up 65% of the helmet’s surface, leaving more skin uncovered and allowing air to circulate. The soft lining provides gentle contact with the skin, while the medical-grade materials are biocompatible and comply with ISO 10993.
In developing MOOR-P lite, we combined more than 30 years of experience in orthotics with digital design and 3D printing. This allows us to create a precisely fitted helmet for each baby, with a lightweight, open design.

Alongside all the benefits the helmet offers, professional monitoring of your child remains essential. Through regular follow-up appointments, our orthotists monitor your baby’s progress and guide you throughout treatment.

Medical-grade PA11/PA12/TPU materials — ISO 10993
Your baby wears the helmet for around 23 hours a day, so the materials need to be suitable for long-term skin contact. The medical-grade materials are assessed according to ISO 10993, a set of international standards for evaluating the biological safety of medical devices. This includes checking whether the materials could irritate the skin or cause an allergic reaction.
Soft foam lining for cushioned contact
A soft foam layer cushions the areas where the helmet rests against your baby’s head, helping distribute contact pressure more evenly. This supports comfort throughout daily wear and is gentle on the skin.

Lightweight, perforated design
The helmet is thin and made from light materials; on top of that, the perforated shell makes it even lighter and easy to wear.
Two quiet buckles, adjustable as your baby grows
Two buckles hold the helmet securely in place and open quietly, keeping noise low during everyday care. Small adjustments allow the fit to accommodate growth, following your orthotist’s instructions.

65% open design for increased airflow
The open design allows air to circulate around your baby’s head, helping heat and moisture escape. This helps keep the head cooler and drier during wear, particularly in warmer weather. Some sweating can still occur, especially while your baby gets used to the helmet, so daily cleaning and skin care remain important.
You can choose from a wide range of colour and pattern combinations

FREE ASSESSMENT AND 3D SCAN
3D scanning technology helps to accurately determine the degree of deformity and ensures that the helmet will fit your baby perfectly.

WEARING THE HELMET
The duration of the correction depends on the degree of deformity. You will receive all the necessary instructions and you will quickly notice the first improvements. At regular check-ups, we will monitor and evaluate progress.
